Services for Mollie F. Burton, 92 of Blair are 3 p.m. Thursday, October 3 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Chapel. Rev. Ronald Meiers is officiating. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Mollie F. Burton was born December 15, 1898 at Natural Bridge, Virginia to John and Rosa Harrison.

She married Guy Steffe and had two children, LeRoy and Edith.

She later married James E. Burton. They lived in Baltimore, Maryland until 1945 when they moved to Jacksonville, Florida. There they opened a restaurant called the Brown Derby.

She spent much of her time nursing, first a sick husband, then a son and finally a daughter, all of whom preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and enjoyed flowers and beautiful yards.

She moved to Blair in 1985 to be near her grandson, Ronald Jenkins. She had been a Crowell Memorial Home resident for the last two years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; son, LeRoy; daughter, Edith, brother, Jimmy and grandson, Wayne.

She is survived by her grandsons and their wives, Ronald and Lou Jenkins of Blair and Bill and Judy Jenkins of Jacksonville, Florida; great-grandsons and their wives, Dan and Vicky Jenkins of Omaha, Jeff and Cammy Jenkins of Bellevue; great-granddaughter and her husband, Cindy and Chris Montez of Blair and great-granddaughters, Ann Jenkins of Blair and Mitzy of Jax, Florida.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
