FLORENCE HESTER LINN

Mrs. E. M. Terrill of this city received word recently of the death of her sister, Mrs. Bert Linn of Mondamin, Iowa.

Deceased was the daughter of the late Al Hester of this city and was reared and educated here.

She was born at Modale, Iowa, Jan. 23, 1875 and when a child of six years the family moved to blair. Here she met and married Bert Linn, October 24, 1895 and to them six children were born, four of whom are living with the husband to mourn her death.

Besides the grief stricken family, six sisters and one brother mourn deeply.

The funeral services were conducted from her home in Mondamin and interment was made in Missouri Valley, Ia.

Mrs. Florence Linn of Mondamin, Iowa died at an Omaha hospital October 17th, following an illness of several years’ duration. The deceased was born at Modale, Iowa January 23, 1875, and removed to Blair with her parents when she was six years old. On October 24, 1895 she was married to A. H. Linn, and after seven years residence in Blair they removed to Mondamin, where they have since resided. Mrs. Linn had been a very active worker in the community affairs at Mondamin. Surviving her are three daughters, Mrs. Helen Joliff of Chariton, Iowa, Genevieve and Lola at home; a son, Yale, also at home; six sisters, Mrs. C. A. Linn of Arlington; Mrs. George Linn of Fremont; Mrs. E. M. Terrell of this city; Mrs. Z. Christensen of Wisconsin; and Mrs. Richard Bennett of Illinois. A brother, Rema Hester of Chicago also survives.
