Funeral services for Mrs. Burr Comfort were held at the Congregational church on Wednesday afternoon in Blencoe, Iowa. The deceased was the eldest child of Mr. and Mrs. H. L. McKibben of this place and she made her home here when her parents came to Arlington in 1910. Mildred McKibben Comfort was born in Saronville on June 13, 1890, and in 1911 was married to Burr Comfort of Blencoe, Iowa where she since made her home. She died suddenly about 8 a.m. Monday while attending to her household duties. For the past three years she has been in very poor health, having suffered a paralytic stroke, but her condition had seemed to be improving of late. She is survived by her husband, one son, Robert; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. L. McKibben; three sisters, Mrs. A. J. Ziska of Yankton, S. D., Mrs. H. E. Stayner of Bee and Miss Alice McKibben of Arlington, and three brothers, Mason of Fort Collins, Colo., Clarence and Walter of Arlington. Burial was made in the Blencoe cemetery.
