CHRIS JENSEN

Mr. Chris Jensen, a resident of this county not quite a year, passed away on Feb. 22 from the after effects of the flu which he suffered a number of months ago.

The deceased was born in Denmark about fifty nine years ago.

He was married at Red Cloud, Neb. to Miss Constance Anderson, and to this union three sons were born, one dying in government service.

He is survived by his wife and two sons, Thorwald of McCook and James of Omaha, and an adopted daughter, Marie, at home. He is also survived by his aged father, Peter Jensen, who resides near Blair and his sister, Mrs. Goldberg Anderson and a brother, James Jensen of this vicinity.

Before coming to Blair, Mr. Jensen lived in Webster Co., where he was a farmer. The family resides in Dexterville at present.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 25, at the First lutheran church and burial made in the local cemetery.
