Sally J. Franceschini, 70

Blair native Sally J. (Maxwell) Kelley Franceschini died Monday, Oct. 29, 2007, at her home in Turlock, Calif., with her husband, David, and son, Scott, by her side. Mrs. Franceschini, who was 70, died after a nine-year battle with cancer.

Funeral services are 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2.

Sally J. Maxwell was born May 19, 1937, in Blair, to Dick and Sarah (Petersen) Maxwell.

She was a graduate of Blair High School, and had attended beauty school and classes to become a dental hygienist.

On Oct. 1, 1977, she married David Franceschini.

She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother and sister. She loved her family very much, and enjoyed life to the fullest.

She is survived by her husband, David; son, Scott Kelley of Elkhorn; brothers and sister-in-law, Kenny Maxwell of Denton and Joe and Diane Maxwell of Omaha; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy and Jim Kelley of Blair, Betty and Ray Lewis of Fort Calhoun, Lona and Kenny Baxter of Kimberling City, Mo., and Vicki and Ron Novak of Blair, as well as many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her first husband, Bill Kelley.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the hospice in Modesto, Calif.
