Mrs. Nellie Fransen dies October 22

Services for Nellie Frandsen age 88, were held at the Campbell Mortuary on Thursday October 25 at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Walter G. Millett officiated. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Pallbearers were George Ricker, Bob Ricker, Fred Heinssen, Harold Lang, Harold Paulsen, and Clarence Nelson.

She passed away Monday at her home near Herman, Nebraska. She was born January 16, 1891, near Tekamah, Nebraska, the daughter of George and Elizabeth Ellis.

She attended rural school northeast of Tekamah.

In 1911 Nellie moved to a farm with her parents near Herman and resided there until her death. In 1935 she was united in marriage to Carl Fransen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister and two brothers.

Survivors include her sister Mrs. Rose Davis of Lyons, Nebraska, one niece Mrs. Clarence Nelson of Oakland, Nebraska, two nephews Ross Davis, Fremont, and Carroll Davis of Tekamah.

Services For Nellie Frandsen

Funeral services for 88 year old Nellie Frandsen, of Rural Route 1 Blair, will be on Thursday morning, October 25, at 10:30 a.m. Nellie Frandsen passed away at her farm home, near Herman, on Monday, October 22, 1979. Services will be at the Campbell Funeral Home, in Blair, with burial in the Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Frandsen was born on January 16, 1891, near Tekamah, Nebraska. She was the daughter of George and Elizabeth Ellis and attended rural school northeast of Tekamah.

In 1911 Nellie moved to a farm with her parents near Herman. She lived at the farm the rest of her life.

In 1935 she was united in marriage to Carl Frandsen. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, one sister and two brothers.

Surviving is a sister, Rose Davis, Lyons, Nebraska; niece, Mrs. Clarence Nelson of Oakland; Carroll Davis, Tekamah; and Ross Davis, Fremont.

Pallbearers will be: Harold Lang, Robert Ricker, Clarence Nelson, Harold Paulsen, George Ricker and Fredrick Heinsen.
