G. W. Burcham, an uncle of Jonas and “Bo" Burcham of this city, died at his home at Mondamin, Iowa on Tuesday afternoon following an illness of several months’ duration. He had suffered a paralytic stroke during the winter and had been confined to his home since that time. He was quite well known in Blair, having visited in this community a number of times.
