Bessie I. (Hadley) Hutton

18 Apr., 1929 - The Pilot-Tribune The news reached Arlington of the death at Cedar Bluffs Friday of Mrs. Charles Hutton, a niece of William Hadley and the only daughter of Dr. and Mrs. J. E. Hadley of Cedar Bluffs. Mrs. Hutton was well known here where she had many friends during her frequent visits here with relatives. Mrs. Hutton was born at Kennard, then later moving to Central City where the family lived for several years, then going to Cedar Bluffs, which place has been her home since. Her death was caused from pneumonia and followed a brief illness. She is survived by her husband, a son, Edward, and her grief stricken parents whose only child she was. Mrs. Hutton was never very strong, but took an active interest in church and civic affairs. The funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Cedar Bluffs M. E. church. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hadley and Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Ridsdale were among those attending the funeral from here.
