George Franke and George, Helen and Wilhelmina Franke went to Gering, Nebraska, where they attended the funeral services for Chester Edward Franke, who was a drowning victim at Lake Minatare. “Chessie” was born December 28, 1945, at Portland, Oregon, and died July 5th.

He is survived by his wife and two daughters, ages five and seven, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chet Franke of 1810 Avenue, Scottsbluff, a sister, Janet, and brothers Daniel and Michael.

Services were at Boley, Dennis Gering Memorial Chapel.
