Mrs. Peter L. Peterson Dies at Her Home on Thursday Afternoon

Mrs. Peter L. Peterson, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Peterson of Arlington, died suddenly April 23 at her home near Herman of heart failure.

The deceased was born November 2, 1884 in Washington county and on October 26, 1904 she was married to Peter L. Peterson, since which time they have made their home on a farm near Herman.

Four children were born to this union, three of whom survive. They are Earl aged 19, Raymond 16, and Dorothy 12. She is also survived by her husband, her parents, three sisters, Mrs. R. E. Esner of Arlington, Mrs. O. H. Parkening of Iola, Kan., Mrs. R. E. Planck of Arlington, two brothers, Shirley Peterson of Blair and Leslie Peterson of Arlington.

Funeral services were held on Sunday from Rose Hill church and interment was made in Orum cemetery, where the members of the Eastern Star, of which the deceased had been a member, had charge of the services at the grave.
