Funeral Services Held on Monday Afternoon at Baptist Church

Thomas Edward Bramlett, who was born May 9, 1876 in Breckinridge county, Kentucky, died at his home in Dexterville last Saturday afternoon at the age of 5 years, after a lingering illness of several months.

The deceased was left without parents at the age of seven years, and was taken into the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Pate, who at that time were also living in Kentucky. In 1898 he was married to Elizabeth Agnes Flowers, after which the couple immediately engaged in farming until 1925 when they moved to this county.

He leaves to mourn his loss, besides his wife, three children, Lulu, Simeon and Shelby, all of whom are at home; three foster brothers, Ernest and George Pate of Council Bluffs, and Elmer Pate of Blair, and two foster sisters, Mrs. George Christensen of Washington and Mrs. Ed Annin of Council bluffs. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church on Monday afternoon at 2:30, the Rev. W. H. Underwood being in charge, after which the body was laid to rest in the Blair cemetery
