18 Sept., 1930 - The Enterprise (this obit. was in the Ft. Calhoun section)

After a brief illness, John, the three year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Wagers of Emerson passed on at a Sioux City hospital Monday, Sept. 8. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church here Thursday at 2 p.m. Rev. Carl Bader, pastor of the Blair M. E. church officiating. The little fellow is survived by his parents and one brother, Donald. He often visited his grandparents, Mrs. and Mrs. John Wriedt of this place, with whom was a great favorite.
