Mrs. Anna Margrete Hansen was born in Denmark February 12, 1863, and died at her home in Blair October 19, 1931.

She came to Missouri Valley in 1883, and shortly afterwards was married to Andrew Hansen, and they took up their abode in this county. For years they farmed south of Blair, but in later years retired from the active duties of the farm and moved to Blair where they have since resided.

The funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at two thirty from the Danish church with Rev. Jersild officiating, and interment was made in the Blair Cemetery.
