FORMER BLAIR TEACHER PASSES

Work reached Blair yesterday morning that Mrs. Minnie Sager had passed away at 1:45 Tuesday morning at the Soldiers Home at Grand Island where she has made her home for many years.

Mrs. Sager was a teacher in Blair schools away back in the early eighties. She was then known as Miss Minnie Meyers. Later she married a man by the name of Miller, who was at that time to county superintendent of the county. On the death of her husband, she again went into the teaching profession, and later married a Mr. Sager.

After her second marriage, the family moved to Arkansas where the husband died. The wife continued her residence in Arkansas for number of years, but finally moved back to Nebraska, and took up her residence in the Soldiers Home at Grand Island.

The funeral services were held at Central City, and the body will be brought to Blair for interment.

The writer has good cause to remember Mrs. Sager as one of his former teachers. She was a woman of ability and a real teacher of highest type.
