MRS. McCUNE DIES FOLLOWING LONG ILLNESS

The death of Mrs. Edna Hoover McCune of Lake Charles, La. occurred Wednesday, Dec. 2, at the home of her sister, Mrs. J. E. Campbell of this city following a long illness. Mrs. McCune has been at the Campbell home since last June, and everything that could be done to comfort her and alleviate her suffering has been done.

The deceased leaves to mourn her passing her father, Geo. A. Hoover of Sioux City, three sisters, Mrs. J. B. Rodgers of Denver, Mrs. Gus Lundt and Mrs. J. E. Campbell of this city, two brothers, George of Sioux City and Howard of Milwaukee and her husband, H. W. McCune, who is here at present.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning, Dec. 4, at ten o’clock at the Campbell residence, Rev. A. F. Newell of the Congregational church will have charge of the services, and interment will be made at Carroll, Ia.
