ANDREW BROCK, SR. PASSES

A. R. Brock of the Citizens State Bank received word Tuesday of the death of his father, Andrew Brock,Sr. of Minden, Nebraska.

Mr. Brock was born in Denmark in 1839, and came to America in 1872. He was married in Denmark, and to this union four girls and two boys were born. His wife passed away, and after this in 1872 he came with his family to America, settling first in Michigan and later in 1877 coming to Nebraska where he settled near Weeping Water.

After coming to America he remarried and three children were born to this second union. Of the children now living, A. R. lives in Blair, Harry in Chadron, Mrs. C. F. Calkins in Battle Creek, Mich., Mrs. Bert Miller in Lincoln, Mrs. Roy Bell and Mrs. Lars Larsen in St. Paul, Nebr.

During his life Mr. Brock was a farmer and a good substantial citizen. He was a member of the Danish Lutheran church and of the Danish Brotherhood.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2:30 at St. Paul, and interment will be made in the St. Paul cemetery beside his wife who preceded him some years ago.
