MRS. JOHN DULANEY PASSES

Mrs. John Dulaney, a resident of this county for over sixty five years, passed away at her home on Nebraska street last Tuesday, Dec. 2. She had been ill for some time, and last Friday suffered a paralytic stroke from which she failed to rally.

Mrs. Dulaney was born in Sioux county, Ohio April 21, 1856, and with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Wilds, came to Blair in 1865. Most of the time since, Blair has been her home.

On January 11, 1876 she was married to Mr. John Dulaney and they immediately took up their residence on a farm near Kennard where they lived seventeen years.

To this union five children were born, two boys and three girls as follows: B. M. Delaney of Maskell, Neb., Lyle of Omaha, Mrs. Bertha McManigal of Blair, Mrs. Hattie McManigal of Walthill and Mrs. Mattie Bovee of Saskatchewan, Canada. These, with the husband, survive to mourn the loss of a good mother and wife.

She leaves also two brothers, Ed Wilds of Blair, Elmer of Fremont and a sister, Mrs. Amanda Leslie of Council Bluffs.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon, Thursday, Dec. 4, from the home on east Nebraska street with Rev. Pardon, pastor of the M. E. church, officiating. Interment will be made in the local cemetery.
