Mrs. L. F. Hilsinger died at her home here Tuesday, August 26, aged 72 years, 6 months and 13 days. Her health has been failing for several months. She was born in Ohio and came to Nebraska in 1881, locating near here. After a few years the family moved into town which has since been her home. She is survived by her husband and four children, Mrs. T. W. Hungate of Ryder, N. D., Mrs. O. H. Godsey and O. L. Hilsinger of Herman and Mrs. C. W. Stokes of Mambas, N. D. Eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; two sisters and six brothers. funeral services were held Thursday at 2:30 at the Baptist church conducted by Rev. T. J. Reese of Pawnee City, a former pastor. Interment was made in the Herman cemetery.
