Diann Lynn Schiessler 12-10-1953 - 4-14-2018

Diann L. Schiessler, age 64 of Fremont, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018, in Omaha.

Diann was born on December 10, 1953, in Ashland, Nebraska, to James and Leona Carson. She graduated from Arlington High School in 1972 and earned her Associates Degree from Grand Island School of Business.

Diann was a legal secretary for almost 40 years. Her employers included the South Padre Island, Texas, Chamber of Commerce and the University of Nebraska Lincoln’s Athletic Department.

She enjoyed spending time at the beach during her time in Texas and liked to read John Grisham novels. Diann loved spending time with her children, siblings, nieces, nephews and other family. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her daughter Danielle Schiessler, father James W. Carson, and brother James L. Carson.

Survived by sons Nathan (Theresa) Schiessler and Elijah (Lindsey) Schiessler; 4 Grandchildren Dylan, Dash, Lena, and Josie; Mother Leona Carson; Sister Linda (Wally) Meadows; Brothers Bill (Peg) Carson and Rick (Kim) Carson; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A family service will held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at Dugan Funeral Chapel in Fremont. Chaplain Scott Jensen will be officiating.
