FORMER BLAIR WOMAN BURIED HERE

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 23 at two o’clock from the home of Mrs. Sadie Jones of east Lincoln street, for her mother, Mrs. William Klingler, an old time Blair resident. Services were conducted by Rev. A. J. Hargett of the Christian church and burial was made in the local cemetery.

Rebekah Jane Stringfellow was born in Ada, Ohio February 17, 1859. She was married to William Klingler, June 24, 1874 at Canton, Ohio. She departed this life Monday evening, April 21, 1930 at Norfolk.

To mourn her loss there are five children: Mrs. Sadie Jones, Blair; Mr. Lee Klingler, Rapid City, S. D.; Mr. Ben Klingler, Tekamah; Mrs. Hazel McManigal, Curtis, Neb.; and Mrs. Frank Bishop, Atchison, Kansas. There are also fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Klingler were residents of Blair for more than forty years. Both were members of the Christian church. Mr. Klingler preceded his companion of life by more than twelve years; he passed to the world beyond Oct. 31. 1917.
