Funeral services were held at the M. E. church at Arlington on Wednesday afternoon for Calvin W. Marshall, 85 years of age. The deceased was born in Ohio where he spent his youthful days. In 1882 he came to Arlington vicinity, making his home with his family on the farm now owned by Fred Scheer. In 1893 he left, moving to Lincoln where he resided for several years before moving to Kansas. From there he moved to Oklahoma, residing there until his death.

The funeral services were in charge of Rev. Knott of the Seven Day Advent church of Oklahoma City, Okla. Burial was made in the family lot in the Morley cemetery.

Seven children survive, all of whom were present except Mrs. Myrtle Crandall of Cove, Ark. The others are William J. Marshall of Arlington, Ollie W. Marshall of Kennard, Mrs. Ida Sutton of Covington, Okla., Mrs. Lydia Sutton of Hennesee, Okla.; Mrs. Cora Crimson of Wichita, Kans. and Mrs. Della Crandall of Rushville, Mo. Besides these, grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren survive. The deceased was a cousin of G. A. Marshall and A. C. Marshall of Arlington.
