DIES OF APPENDICITIS
Steen Benjamin Vig passed away at the Wise Memorial hospital of Omaha at seven twenty Monday, July 15, from the effects of an operation for appendicitis.
He was born in Luck, Wisconsin August 25, 1909, and came to this county when but a year old. His father was for years one of the faculty of Dana College, and the young man grew up under the influence of the school and the church.
The father passed away just a few months ago, and the mother and eleven brothers and sisters are left to mourn his death.
The funeral services are to be held this Thursday afternoon at one o’clock from the home and at one thirty from the Danish Lutheran church, with Rev. H. Nielsen officiating and interment is to be made in the Blair cemetery
