Mrs. Herman Jungbluth received the sad news of the death of her father, Eggert Oft of Bennington, who passed away at 4 a.m. March 1 at a local hospital in Omaha. The funeral was held on March 4th at 2 p.m. at the Lutheran church in Bennington. Those from Arlington and Dale who attended were: Mr. and Mrs. G. I. Pfeiffer, Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Webb, Dr. and Mrs. R. A. Davies, Mr. and Mrs Julian and Fred Jungbluth, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kastrup, Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Emerson and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sunds.
