12 Feb., 1931 - The Enterprise

MRS. O. E. TIMM

Laura S. Kay was born in Ft. Calhoun January 14, 1900, and died at her home near Bennington January 29, 1931, aged 31 years and 15 days.

After graduating from the Ft. Calhoun high school in 1916 she took a business course in an Omaha college, and for several years after finishing there held a position with the First National Bank of Omaha.

She was married to Otto E. Timm on Sept. 22, 1925. To them was born a son on Sept. 26, 1926. After their marriage, Mr. and Mr. Timm lived at McCook and Hastings, moving about a year ago to the Timm home near Bennington.

Two weeks ago Mrs. Timm suffered a paralytic stroke from which she never rallied.

She is survived by her husband and little son, her father, Hans Kay, five sisters, Mrs. Chris Anderson of Herman; Mrs. Alexander Rohrbaugh of Omaha; Mrs. Gus Kortum of DuPont, Colo; Mrs. Lloyd Walker of Omaha; Miss Helen Kay of Omaha and two brothers, William and Hans of Ft. Calhoun.

Mrs. Timm was a beautiful character, an ideal wife and mother, and her untimely passing is indeed a bereavement to the family and a sorrow to the community.

Dr. Talbott of the Dundee Presbyterian church preached the sermon in the church here Saturday afternoon, Jan. 31. The body was laid to rest in the Ft. Calhoun cemetery beside that of her mother who died twenty years ago.
