Scott K. Greunke

Scott K. Greunke, 56 years, of Hooper, NE passed away Monday, April 15, 2019 at Dunklau Gardens in Fremont. He was born October 31, 1962 in Fremont, NE to Kenneth and Marlene (Freudenburg) Greunke.

He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Arlington, NE. Scott graduated from Arlington High School in 1981. He farmed with his father and brother. Scott enjoyed basketball, baseball, and softball for some years after high school.

Scott is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Marlene Greunke of Arlington; brother, Allen of Nickerson, NE; sister and brother-in-law, Carma and Matt VanOrman of Colorado Springs, CO; and nieces, Grace and Faith VanOrman. He was preceded in death by his baby sister, Jana and his grandparents.

Funeral Service will be 10:30 A.M., Friday, April 19, 2019 at St Paul’s Lutheran Church in Arlington, NE. Pastors Rick Kanoy and Jason Duley will officiate. Visitation will be 4-7 P.M., Thursday and family will receive friends from 5-7 PM. all at Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington. Visitation will continue on Friday 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at St. Paul’s Cemetery
