He lived before 1856 in Davenport, Iowa. He was a merchant circa 1856 at Davenport, IA. His brothers, Claus and Hans, also lived in Davenport. He was also known as Frank and Francis. He lived beginning in August 1858 on a farm near Fort Calhoun, Nebraska. He died after August 1858 at the farm. Age 30. Unknown cause of death. He was buried on a farm near Fort Calhoun, Nebraska.
