| Katrinka Horstmann was born circa 1857 at Fort Calhoun, Washington, NE. She was also known as Tinka. She appeared on the census of 23 June 1860 at Fort Calhoun, NE. She was living with her mother and other siblings with her mother’s brother. (In the 1860 census index they are indexed as Horseman). She died as a child shortly after 23 June 1860 from scarlet fever at Fort Calhoun, Nebraska. She was buried near the farm, Fort Calhoun, Nebraska.
