Funeral services were Saturday, October 14, at 1 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Church in Missouri Valley for Julie Patrice Frazier, 21, who died October 9, 1989, in North Chicago, Illinois. Rev. James Kiernan was the celebrant. Interment was in the Mount Carmel Cemetery, Missouri Valley.

Julie was born on April 21, 1968, in Omaha to Fred and Joyce Frazier. She was a 1986 graduate of Missouri Valley High School. Julie attended Kearney State for two years. She joined the Navy in April of 1988 and was stationed in Great Lakes Naval Station in Chicago.

Survivors include: one son, David Michael of Missouri Valley, Iowa; her parents, Fred and Joyce Frazier of Missouri Valley; two sisters, Joanne Frazier of Merthoud, Colorado; Suzanne Cooper, Missouri Valley; one brother, Mark Frazier, of Kearney, Nebraska.

Hennessey, VanCleave and Hurley Funeral Home of Missouri Valley, handled the arrangements.
