Jensen, Jim, age 69.

Formerly of the Arlington, NE and Bennington, NE areas. Passed away August 25, 2012 at his home in Eskridge, KS. Jim was born June 15, 1943, at Jacksonville, Iowa, the eldest of six sons of Grover and Mary Harter Jensen. At the age of 12 the family relocated to Arlington, Nebraska, where Jim grew up in the Arlington community and schools. Jim married Sandie Penke of Bennington, Nebraska on October 3, 1964. Survived by wife, Sandie; sons, Darren, Topeka,KS, Kevin (Stephanie), Hoyt, KS, and Ryan (Lori), Topeka,KS; grandchildren, Luke, Sarah and Rachel; brothers Ed, Thurman, IA, Chuck, Yorktown, IA, and Jerry, Plattsmouth, NE. Preceded in death by parents, and brothers Roger and Dennis. Family visitation will be held from 6-8pm, Tuesday, August 28, at the United Methodist Church, Eskridge. Services 1pm, Wednesday, August 29, 2012, also at the Eskridge church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the St.Jude Children's Research Hospital may be sent in care of the funeral home.
