MYRON H. COOK IS STRICKEN TUESDAY

Myron H. Cook, 53, a resident of the Arlington community his entire life, died at 5:30 Tuesday morning at his home in Arlington. He had been a prominent figure in the life of Arlington and the entire community for many years. He was a cousin of J. C. Cook, attorney at Fremont.

A son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene M. Cook, he was born on a farm east of Arlington March 7, 1879, and made his home there until four years ago when he moved to Arlington. He was married to Lenora Eakin at Kennard February 20, 1901. He was a member of the Masonic lodge at Arlington.

Surviving are his wife, three sons and two daughters, Roscoe G., Curtis J. and Merritt B. Cook, all of Arlington; Mrs. Charles Everrett, Burlington, Ia., and Mrs. Lyle Welch of Lincoln; three brothers, C. C. Cook, Arlington, A. L. and E. L. Cook, both of Omaha; one sister, Miss Mabel Cook, Arlington and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the home this Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock.
