FORMER BLAIR WOMAN CALLED

Word reached Blair friends recently of the death of Mrs. Walter N. Drake of Burlington, Iowa who passed away last month. Mrs. Drake, nee Mary Cameron, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mac Cameron, now deceased, formerly of the Vacoma neighborhood. She was born May 25, 1879, and was reared to womanhood in the old home at Vacoma, receiving her education at Vacoma school and at Wayne.

In this latter school she met Mr. Drake who later became her husband. Many Blair people will remember both Mr. and Mrs. Drake as they made Blair their home for a time.

She leaves, besides the husband, five children, Roy, Rolland and Helen of Chicago, Marjorie, a married daughter living in Mt. Vernon, Ill., and Eleanor Jean, ten years of age, who is at home with her father, and also one sister, Mrs. E. Z. Russell of Washington, D. C.
