Memorial services for Sylvia Fredericks, age 96, of Garvette, Arkansas, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, at the Ft. Calhoun Baptist Church. Her remains will be interred at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha.

Mrs. Fredericks died May 20, 1989, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Sylvia Fredericks was born July 29, 1892, at Sioux City, Iowa, to George W. Smith and Ella Meade.

She lived in Blair for seven years before moving to Noel, Missouri. She resided the last 15 years in Garvette, Arkansas. She was a member of the Noel, Missouri, Methodist Church, the Rebecca Lodge of Decatur, Nebraska, and the V.F.W. Auxiliary of Decatur.

She is survived by three sons, Eugene Harper of Blair, Herman Graver of Omaha, Ernie Graver, Tekamah; eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren and one sister, Leona Smith of Garvette. Arkansas.
