Funeral services are Thursday, August 10, at 2 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home for Shirley K. Frederick, 50, who died August 7, 1989, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. Charles Arnold and Rev. Bill Hartwell are officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery at Blair.

Shirley K. Frederick was born October 9, 1938, in Falls City, Nebraska, to Gerald and Viva DeWald Zeigler. She was raised in Falls City.

She married Ralph Frederick August 22, 1956, in Falls City. She spent much of her life in Nebraska and California in motel management.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph; three daughters, Joyce Frederick, Regina Frederick, both of Blair and Sherry (Mrs. Dan) Adams of Dickinson, North Dakota; and two grandchildren Melinda and Steven Adams. One brother, Kenneth Orr, Malpetas, California; and two sisters, Peggy Oravecz, San Jose, California, and Ann Beavers, Carleton, Nebraska, also survive her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.

Pallbearers are Mark Frederick, Todd Frederick, John Belsky, William J. Frederick, Jr., Mark Peterson and Chris Mommsen.

Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
