MRS. WILHELMINA FLAKE

Mrs. Wilhelmina Flake died at the Ed Schafersman home in Telbasta early Friday morning.

Mrs. Flake was born in Germany on October 29, 1848. On March 27, 1871 she was married, and a few days later she and Mr. Flake came to the united States, coming direct to Fontanelle. Several weeks later they moved to their farm near there, and the remainder of their lives was spent there with the exception of the past few years when Mrs. Flake has been with her daughter, Mrs. Ed Schafersman. Mrs. Flake was the mother of fifteen children, four of whom, with Mr. Flake, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held at the Telbasta church on Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock.

The following children survive Mrs. Flake: Mrs. Fred Schumacher of Sidney, Mrs. Conrad Beineke of Bancroft, Mrs. Gottlieb Bockerman of Arapahoe, Mrs. Ed Schafersman of Telbasta, Mrs. Frank Kruger of Nickerson, Mrs. Ed Bosehult of Scribner, Fred Flake, Henry Flake and Ed Flake all of Herman and Mr. Ed Gosker of Arlington and Mrs. Oscar Nelson of Hartington.
