JOHN A. LANDIS

Funeral services were held last Sunday, May 29, for John Albert Landis of Fort Calhoun whose death occurred on May 27 at the age of 71 years and 26 days following a short illness. Rev. Goede of Fontanelle had charge of the services.

The deceased was born at Clarington, Ohio on May 1, 1861. Later his parents moved to Atwood, Illinois where he grew to manhood. He was married to Mary J. Utterback Jan. 1, 1884 at Holton, Kans.
