An infant son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Carl Sorenson Sunday morning at the Perch Compton home, but lived only a few hours. Mr. and Mrs. Sorensen have resided north of Blair on the bottom about four years. The body of the infant was sent to Seward county where the Sorensens formerly lived. The mother is getting along as well as could be expected.
