Services for Mrs. Martha Olson, 73, who died Thursday at her home near here were held at the Baptist church Saturday afternoon at two thirty, Rev. Jersild of Dana College officiating. Services held at the home were in charge of Rev. Immanuel Petersen of the Hill Creek Lutheran church. Interment was made in the Thone cemetery. Deceased has been an invalid for the past twenty years. She has been bedfast six years. As Martha Haning she was born in Norway March 13, 1859. She came to America as a girl. She was married to Louis Olson at Blair. To this union six sons and one daughter were born. Her husband died about 16 years ago. She is survived by three sons, Ed, Fred and Carl and one daughter, Miss Clara of Herman, three brothers and one sister.

MRS. MARTHA. OLSON DIES AT HOME NEAR HERMAN

An invalid for the past twenty years and bedfast nearly six, Mrs. Martha Olson died at her home west of Herman early last Thursday morning at the age of 73. Funeral services were held Sunday, a short service being conducted at the home and a second service at the Herman Baptist church.

Mrs. Olson was born in Norway, March 13, 1859, and came to America as a girl. She was married at Blair to Louis Olson and to this union were born six sons and one daughter. Her husband died about 16 years ago. Three sons also preceded her in death. She is survived by three sons, Ed, Fred and Carl, a daughter, Clara, two grandchildren, Ivan and Dagmar Olson, and three brothers, Anton Hansing, Norfolk, Ole Hansing of Niobrara, and Chris Hansing of Winside, and a sister, Mrs. Anna Brendon of Seattle, Washington.

The services at the house were conducted by Immanuel Peterson of Blair and at the church Rev. Hans Jersild of Dana college officiated. Gilbert and William Olson, Nels Jepperson, Ross Rasmussen, Chris Hanson and John Eriksen were pallbearers. Interment was made in the Thone cemetery.

Among those from out of town attending the services were Mr. and Mr. Anton Hansing and son of Norfolk, Chris Hansing of Winside, Ole Hansing of Niobrara. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Webb of Pender, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Johnson and Mrs. Matilda Wachter of Omaha. and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Johnson of Blair.
