Fred Freeman Killed

Fred Freeman, a former resident of Blair, but for several years a brakeman in the employ of the Burlington, and residing with his mother at Florence, was instantly killed while in the performance of his duties at Cedar Creek on January 15. He was twenty-four years old. It is supposed that the young man slipped from the top of the train and fell, as the body was found between the rails badly crushed. The body was brought to Blair Friday and buried beside a brother who was killed several years ago.
