Larry G. Byers, Sr., 67, of Blair, died Saturday, May 19, 2007, in Blair.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 23, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. There is no visitation.

Larry G. Byers was born July 14, 1939, in Omaha to Thomas and Josephine (Christensen) Byers.

On Aug. 7, 1959, he married Kathleen Leimbach. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a member of Millwrights Local No. 1463 in Omaha since 1959.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry Jr. and Nancy of Bennington, Lonnie and Linda of Carter lake, Iowa, Thomas and Sherry of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Lydon and Maggie of Treynor, Iowa; daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and John Welker of Blair, Cindy and Jerry Stephens of Omaha, Shelley and Doug Kraniewsaki of Bellevue; 29 grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Darlene Elliott of Omaha and JoAnn and Pete Christensen of Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Judy and Beverly; and a brother, Tom.
