Joseph Eugene Phelps III also known as Joey or J-Low was born in Omaha, Nebraska on July 24, 1978, to Joseph J. Phelps and Brenda Jan Phelps, He departed the life on August 18, 2018.

Joseph Eugene Phelps III attended Benson West Elementary, Central Park Elementary, Nathan Hale Jr. High and Northwest High School.

Joseph (Joey) loved working with his hands. He has worked in industrial plants, roofing and in food service. He never settled and always wanted more.

Joseph (Joey) loved his family, freedom and food. He also was a big time prankster, full of jokes and laughter. His favorite saying was “Keep It Moving” and he did just that.

Joseph (Joey) was preceded in death by his fiancée Savannah Stubblefield.

Joseph (Joey) leaves to cherish his memory of parents Joseph J. Phelps and Brenda Jane Phelps; two sons Isaiah Phelps and Joseph E. Phelps IV a brother Shane (Bango) (Annie)Holbert; two sisters Nikita (Kita) Phelps, Seanna Clemmons; three grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
