Joe Morrison died at his home here Wednesday evening, Nov. 29 after a short illness. He has been in failing health for some time. He was born at Toledo, Ohio and was 72 years, 8 months and 17 days of age at the time of his death. He has been a resident of Herman and vicinity for many years. Twenty nine years ago he was married to Miss Amy Kindred. Surviving are the wife and following children: Frank of Blair, Nebr; (Esther) Mrs. James Herrington; (Permelia) Mrs. Harry Jeff, both of Omaha; Bernice, Ulysses, Myram and Adelaide at home. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church at 2:00 o’clock Friday afternoon. Rev. Reese of Blair officiating. Interment was made in the Thone cemetery.
