GEORGE GARRETT DIES AT KENNARD

George Garrett, 68, who had been critically ill with pneumonia at the Kennard hospital for five days, died Sunday night. Mr. Garrett had lived in Kennard for the past five years, and was a painter and paperhanger. He had been in poor health for some time following a severe injury to his leg last spring.

He was born in England and came to Nebraska as a young man. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. John Sutherland of Blair, and a number of relatives in England. Funeral services were held at Blair Tuesday afternoon with burial in the Blair cemetery.
