HANS F. THOMPSON

Hans Frederick Thompson was born April 10, 1859 at Schleswig Holstein, Germany, and when nine years of age came to America, living on a farm in Douglas county.

He was married in 1882 to Miss Margaret Clausen, and to them three children were born, one son and two daughters. The son passed away in infancy. The surviving children are Mrs. Katie Pipher of Sterling, Colorado and Mrs. Katie Dornacker of Kennard.

Six years after the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Thompson, they moved to a farm near Tekamah where they lived until 1917 when they moved to Blair where they have since lived.

Death came on Thursday of last week after an illness which confined him to his bed for two months.

Funeral rites were held Sunday, November 18th, at one o’clock at the Trinity Lutheran church in this city, and interment was made in the cemetery located four miles north of Millard, Nebr.
