FRANK L. HEWETT

Frank L. Hewett of Blanchard, Oklahoma died Nov. 14 in the Wesley hospital at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma after a three weeks illness caused by poison from teeth, bladder and kidney complications.

He was born in the state of Maine in the year 1866, and came to Nebraska with his pioneer parents while a child, and settled on a homestead near Admah, Nebr.

He was married to Cora M. Simpson in 1888 and lived on the same homestead until the year 1903 when they moved to Blair, Nebraska and later moved in 1911 to Blanchard, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Hewett preceded him in death by eight months, and her loss and ill health were too much for him to stand.

Surviving him are five children: Clarence C. Hewett, Blanchard, Oklahoma; Raymond L. Hewett, Blair, Nebr; Florence B. Gibson, Oklahoma City; Frank A. Hewett, Morley, Mo; Ruth Carey, Oklahoma City and one brother, Al Hewett of Los Angeles, Calif.

Funeral services were held Nov. 17 from the Hahn funeral home at Oklahoma City, and burial was made in the Fair Lawn cemetery in Oklahoma City.
