Abbie Elizabeth Edmunds was born in New York Dec. 14, 1859 and died in Blair, Nebraska Sept. 22, 1933 at the age of 73 years, 9 months and 8 days.

When a small child she came with her parents to Carthage, Ill. and then to Prescott, Iowa in Dec, 1876. There she was married to James W. Foy Feb. 23, 1879. For 44 years the home was maintained there. Ten years ago Mr. and Mrs. Foy came to Blair so that they might be near their daughter, Mrs. Eugene David.

She was the mother of two children who, with their father, mourn her loss.

As a young woman she, with the husband, united with the Methodist church in Prescott, Iowa.

She leaves to mourn her husband, James Foy; a son, Frank of Canton, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. Mary David of Blair, and two grandchildren, Lyle and Clarence.

She was a patient sufferer for many years and was much sustained by her faith.

Services were held Sunday afternoon from the home on east South street, conducted by Rev. W. H. Jackson of the Methodist church. Interment was made in the Blair cemetery.
