JOHN ARONSON

John E. Aronson was born in Sweden Febr. 16th, 1865, and departed this life Sept. 3rd, 1933 at the age of 68 years, 6 months and 18 days. He came to America when 6 months of age, first coming to the state of Iowa where he resided until the spring of 1874, since which time he has been a continuous resident of this county and state.

March 15, 1894 he was united in marriage to Judith E. Woods of Ft. Calhoun, and to this union four children were born, Everett E. of Omaha, Chester C. of Blair, Miss Emyle M. at home and one son, Clayton Paul, who preceded him in death less than a year ago.

In young manhood he united with the Baptist church of Blair, which he attended when health permitted. His life’s occupation was farming, which was in harmony with his ardent love of nature. Surviving him are also nine grandchildren, his brothers are the following: Andrew A. Aronson of Mo. Valley, Albert E. Aronson of Omaha and one sister, Sara C. Roth of Sutton, Nebr.

The funeral services were Held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Baptist church with Rev. T. J. Reese officiating, assisted by Dr. C. W. Farwell of Omaha, and interment was made in the Blair cemetery.

The Enterprise extends sincere sympathy to the bereaved wife and the grieving family.
