ALBERT D. GILBERT

Albert D. Gilbert was born in Herman, Nebr. May 19, 1899, and died Aug. 28, 1933 in Blair at the home of his wife’s mother, Mrs. Carrie Curtis, where he, with his family, had come for a short visit.

He came to Blair at an early age, and attended High School here. About eleven years ago he went to Lincoln where his was employed by the Burlington railroad.

He was married to Miss Goldie Curtis of Blair Sept. 30, 1921, and the home was established in Lincoln. To this union one child was born, Lois, who, with the wife, mourn the loss of the father and husband.

Besides these, he leaves his mother and stepfather and Mrs. Henry Black of Grand Island; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Mundorf and Mrs. Florence Jacobs and two brothers, John and Lyle.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church with Rev. Walter H. Jackson in charge, and interment was made in the Blair cemetery Aug. 30.
