Former Blair Man Drops Dead

Many people will remember Ben Freese, who, for a time resided in Blair in the property now occupied by Bruse McMillan on south Walker Ave. The following dispatch is self-explanatory:

Hebron, Nebr., May 30 – Bernard Freese, who lived in the Pleasant Mound District ten miles east of Hebron, was buried in Bellvue Cemetery, near Omaha, Thursday. He was found dead in his wagon Monday, about 7 o’clock in the morning after starting to Hebron with a load of hogs about an hour earlier. E. Senteny found the body and called Victor Anderson, who notified the family and called the proper authorities. Death resulted from natural causes. Deceased was forty-nine years old and leaves his wife and three children.
