OLD TIMER ANSWERS CALL

Blair’s older citizens will well remember the Ed Turner family who way back in the early eighties lived on the farm now occupied by the George Wilson family and known as the James Ware farm, and later as the Frank Curley farm. This old farm was for a long term of years the property of Ed Turner, and it was he who built the present house and barn now on the property.

An article in Monday’s Bee News bears the news of the death of Mrs. Turner, who has since the death of her husband, made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Julia Kierle, of Omaha. At her death, Mrs. Turner was past 92 years old. She passed away August 12, and interment was made in the Forest Lawn cemetery.
