ARLINGTON GIRL PASSES

Ruth Bertha Vogt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Vogt of the Arlington vicinity, died Saturday afternoon in Military Avenue hospital in Fremont, following an illness of a week’s duration. She suffered an attack of pleurisy which developed into pneumonia, and she was taken to the hospital Saturday morning.

Miss Ruth was born June 22, 1916, her 17th birthday occurring just two days before her death. She was a junior in the Arlington high school.

Besides her parents, she is survived by four sisters: Helen, Edna, Mildred and Anna Marie and three brothers: Ernest, Rupert and Harris.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at the home and at 2 o’clock at St. Paul’s Lutheran church with Rev. G. W. Wolter in charge.
